• Search Meetup.com for networking events. You can find groups for nearly every industry or interest.
• Business cards aren’t just for big companies. You should always carry a few cards w/your contact info.
• Hold your résumé out in front of you. If you see any large blocks of text, go back and edit, edit, edit!
• Don’t send your résumé into a black hole. Check job boards to see who’s hiring, then use your network to get in touch.

Cheap Fun Idea:

• Unwind with a yoga class. If a class isn’t in the budget, look for instructional videos online or in the library
