Over the weekend, I gave the Rock Unemployment site a small refresh in advance of some BIG changes. I hope you’ll stop by and take a look! Here’s what’s new…

  • As a creative freelancer, you’re not just looking for jobs, you’ve also got to get by when you’re unemployed. I’ve added a new section to the site, focusing on side gigs. It’ll feature all of the technology and biz info you need to run your own projects and make some cash.
  • I’m creating bigger and better content for 2010! Get ready for articles to help you kick ass between gigs, video tutorials, and interviews with people who are making it happen.
  • Starting this week, the daily job search tips and cheap fun ideas will only appear on the Twitter feed. If you’re subscribed by email or RSS, you’ll get a weekly wrap-up of all of the tips each Friday. If you’re only reading the tips on Twitter, you’ll miss out on some of the good stuff on the site, so subscribe by email now! (Check the sidebar for a sign-up box)
  • If you’re signed up to get the posts delivered by email (through Feedburner), you’ll want to sign up again on the site. The new email list will include even more content and special offers! (Sorry for the hassle, but I promise not to make you sign up again after this)

I look forward to your feedback on these changes, as well as getting to know you as I build the Rock Unemployment site this year. You can leave your comments below this post or send me an email at melanie@rockunemployment.com.

Let’s rock 2010!
